The camp’s comprehensive program includes Chinese language classes, martial arts, music, sports, scientific experiment, seal and character carving, various recreation and cultural activities, allowing students to rapidly improve their Mandarin while enjoying their summer holidays.

Program Components
§ Chinese Class - Teaching according to different levels; happy learning; effective studying methods and come into the Chinese environment all the time.
§ Painting and Calligraphy Class -Children learn now to use brush pen to draw and write on rice paper and get to know culture knowledge.
§ Paper cutting - Children learn how to make nice and funny paper art by teacher’s guide,
§ Magic - Teacher will presents simple, complete and easy-to-follow instructions on how to do some different magic tricks that are perfect for kids. Kids will love learning the tricks, and they can perform most of them by teacher’s guide.
§ Cooking Class- Professional cook will organize children to make dumplings, crackers etc.
§ Swimming Class- Practice breast stroke, back stroke, butterfly stroke, free style stroke by professional coach.
§ Tennis Class- Through this course, children are able to learn the grip, forehand and backhand strokes and serving skills in tennis. They can also have better understanding on the playing methods, basic rules and scoring method.
§ Field trip- We offer children a fantastic theme trip during the Summer Camp such as Doufu making, paper making, fruit picking and some museums etc.

A bus service is available (at an additional cost) from Monday to Friday for all students whose parents cannot drive them to camp. This service costs 400 RMB for 2 weeks program. A 400RMB deposit is needed for the program reservation.

§ Residential Camp – With Accommodation
Students live in host families or hotels. On-site staff takes into account the student's age, nationality, and gender into consideration when allocating accommodation. They try to place students with the same age together. They also try to make each group nationally varied. Accommodation depends on the program location selected.
Residential program means living and having fun together 24 hours a day 7 days a week in the camp’s fully multicultural environment.
Home stay students enjoy camp activities on weekdays from 8.00am to 9.00pm and also become part of a Chinese family by living and spending the weekend with them. Students stay in double rooms with a Chinese host family near the school. Students can also choose hotels to stay in double rooms with private bathrooms.
Meals are full board every day of the week and include breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner. During excursions or activities, participants are provided lunch and a snack. The Home Stay Program includes full board, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. Clothes and bed linen are collected and washed at a laundry service once a week. Students are requested to bring a laundry bag with them.

Program fee includes tuition fee, teaching materials, accommodation, airport pickup and drop off and insurance. Please note that the above program fee doesn’t include the 100$ application fee.
Visa
Applicants should apply for an L Visa. If the program duration is not covered by the initial visa approval, an extension will be made by The Bridge School on arrival.
Airport Transfer
Arrival airport transfer is provided in the Program. Participants are met at the airport and accompanied to their accommodation by a staff of The Bridge School. The following important details are required at least 10 days before your arrival: Arrival date, Arrival time, Arrival place, Bus/Train/Flight Number, Airline/Bus Company, Place of departure. An emergency number is provided for any last minute arrival delays.
Emergency Travel and Medical Insurance
For peace of mind, total program fees include Emergency Travel and Medical Insurance. Participants are insured for the duration of the program. Those who do not require insurance coverage, please email
